Tonight Jodi was at one of her Silpada jewelry parties, and JoLyn is sleeping over at a friend's house. That means it's "date night" for Jacki & I.I asked her where she wanted me to take her for dinner, and she replied as most 7-year-olds would, "McDonald's!"
After Chicken McNuggets and a Big Mac, we were ready to take OBL to the movies, where we saw "The Longshots." It was a pretty good movie with many positive family elements. Typically cheesy in the appropriate moments, as you could expect in a sports/underdog type of movie.
I had a great time with one of my absolute favorite people in the world. I love hanging with Jacki! You're the best, kid!
