A New Day

There has been so much already written and blogged about today regarding Barack Obama becoming the President of the United States. Therefore, I'll make 2 brief observations:

1) I love that I am a citizen of the United States on the day that we have elected a black man to the most powerful office in the world. I may not have voted for him myself (due to politically differing opinions), but this is a great time to be alive, and an amazing day for civil liberties. I am proud to be an American!

2) We need to pray for President Obama. He has an incredible task before him that only 43 other men have ever had the privilege to attempt. I will pray that he will look to God for guidance, and that God will lead him and our great nation.

May God bless America!
