Videos from Sunday 09.20.09
This past Sunday was another great week, as we began a new series focusing on the vision God has given us for Element Church, called, "BROKEN CHURCH." The series asks the question, "If church is dead, is God dying with it?" Our answer is, of course not, but that God has called "broken" people to reach a broken world. There are three main ideas that we want everyone who comes to our church to know and participate in. The first of those ideas was presented this week, and this first video was the introduction to that idea. "Engage." - We are called to engage people in Millvale and the surrounding areas, so that we might have the opportunity to lead them to the missing "ELEMENT" in their life...a relationship with Jesus Christ. Videos From Sunday 09.13.09
Sunday was a great week at Element Church! I am amazed at God and how incredibly He works in the lives of people. Again, we are seeing new people every week, and we see several giving their hearts to Jesus EVERY WEEK! I love watching God at work in the hearts and lives of everyone who comes!
I also love all of the "firsts" associated with starting a new church. Today was our first Communion Service, and it was exciting to get to celebrate it with Element Church. Dan and the Element band played a song by Third Day appropriately titled, "Communion," while we showed a video with images from the Passion of the Christ. It was very effective and created the perfect atmosphere.
That said, check out the following videos we used this week at Element Church:
The first video features some instruction and a welcome from myself and my daughter, JoLyn's video debut. She's a natural!
"The Link" is our weekly announcement video, appropriately named both because we hold our services on Lincoln Avenue in Millvale, and because this video is our "Link" to the information that people need each week. It is important to note this week, however, that due to a miscommunication on my part, the announcement that we have a "Street Team Meeting" this week is incorrect. Instead, we will be participating with Millvale Days. Check it out:
This is the video intro Billy Chester shot to illustrate the opening of this week's message, "Don't Fall Out The Window." Billy did a great job, and I love his creativity. Unfortunately, we had some lighting issues, but I love the talent he has, and I am looking forward to more creative moments like this from him!
Lastly, this is the video we used from YouTube during Communion. We used the video without the audio track and had the Element band play live. I thought it was powerfully effective.
