What a view!

Went to see the Boston Red Sox beat up on a defeated Indians team last night. It was a close game, and actually I was planning on cheering for the Indians when I first decided to go, but ended up cheering for the Sox because some of the fans were such jerks.

The truth is, it was a great game. It was close, but the Indians just could not pull it out. In the 9th inning, for the second game in a row, the Sox beat them.

Honestly, though, that's what good teams do. Chips stacked against them, or even up, it always seems that they pull out the win. It can really be frustrating for teams that are so close, like the Indians were.

What I did see was a team, the Red Sox, that pursues excellence, and feels they can win in any situation. A little bit of that attitude can take a team a long way, as last year it took them all the way to being crowned World Series Champions. Say what you want, but they do it over, and over, and over again.

Lesson learned? Sure...always believe you can, and eventually you will. Execute, execute, execute. Play with excellence, and carry an attitude of success, and you will win!
