It still seems somewhat surreal that in just a couple of weeks we will be saying "goodbye" to Hermitage and moving to Pittsburgh to plant a church in Millvale. One thing that added some reality to our coming new adventure was the sudden appearance of school supplies that began showing up in my office. A friend of mine from First Assembly, Charlie Hunter, started by donating a gross of pencil eraser-tops as a gift to our "future children's ministry." Once he did that, he really felt that God was impressing on him to donate more. A couple of days and trips to Staples & Office Depot later, and I now have a BOX FULL of school supplies to use in ministering to kids!
Charlie, thanks for being willing to give, and for investing in the lives of kids in Millvale!
