Pneumonia stinks.

So, now I know what Pneumonia feels like. Seriously, I've been incredibly sick this week, but I just thought I had a really bad case of the flu. After Jodi got off work today, she took me to the hospital emergency room because it seemed like I was not only not getting better, but I was getting much worse.

I awoke this morning by gagging because my throat felt like it had sealed shut. That was scary, so I had decided that if I was not doing better by this afternoon, I would get checked out. I'm glad I did, because I actually feel like I will get better this time.

They gave me a breathing treatment (which felt like I was chilling with Walker Texas Ranger and smoking a peace pipe...anyone else see that episode?), some steroids (there goes my induction into the hall of fame, right Roger?), some powerful cough medicine, and some antibiotics (needle to the posterier end...not my favorite!) At least I'll be back on the road to the living.

Pastor Ken & Marlene and Pastor Mike visited me twice, and Pastor & Marlene took care of the kids for us while we were having all of the fun at the hospital. Thanks for caring so much, you guys. You're the best!

That's all for now. Get plenty of rest, drink plenty of fluids, and please, please, please...take your vitamin c!
